Popcorn Hack 2 = What is the meaning of negative effects of technology and how can we use responsible programming to avoid and reduce these uninternded harmful impacts:
The negative effects of technology can include but are not limited to environmental harm (e-waste), privacy violations, social issues(cyberbullying), bias in AI, and security risks. Responsible programming can mitigate these by using and improving ethical AI, securing data, reducing bias, optimizing energy efficiency, and prioritizing user well-being.
Popcorn Hack 3 = Why is it important to understand the unintended consequences of technology, especially dopamine-driven-technology:
Understanding the unintended consequences of dopamine-driven technology is important since it can lead to addictive behaviors (dependence on tech), reduced focus on real life things, and mental health challenges due to the overstimulation of the brain’s reward system. By being aware of these effects, producers and consumers can make more informed and health consious choices to create and interact with technology in a healthier and more balanced way.
